Decorative Bowls, Vietnam; Intricate Design and Complimentary Colors

While exploring Central Vietnam, we visit Hoi An Ancient Town where traditional artisanal industries are preserved.  In the old quarter and nearby rural islands, there are custom tailors, shop-houses and workshops where craftsmen create unique products using old techniques.  Small pieces of shells and sand from the sea decorate these decorative bowls.  The outer layer shows a multi-colored simple design on the red background.  Set: 2 decorative bowls (height 3 inches, width 4 1/2 inches).
