Monks of Sera Monastery, Captivating Display of Traditions

Tibet is a land of indescribable beauty and profound spirituality.  The landscapes of Tibet are snow-capped mountains, turquoise lakes and sand dunes in the desert.  Tibetans are peace-loving people, devout pilgrims on a spiritual journey.  Ancient monasteries and sacred meditation caves are spread across the land.  We visit the Sera Monastery to observe exuberant Tibetan monks, dressed in traditional red robes, debating Tibetan Doctrines through animated gestures and words.  They advance their education by challenging their comprehension and by practicing their convictions.  It is a fascinating display of traditions and spiritual devotion.
