Turquoise Pillow Case, China; Textile with a Tableau of Ancient China

Throughout China’s long history, luxurious fabrics were used to dress emperors, to style palaces and decorate temples.  The traditional Chinese fabrics often display vivid colors, traditional motifs and spiritual meanings.  The featured pillow case is made from turquoise fabric and accentuated with Chinese symbols.  The ancient theme in red, pink, green and golden colors stand out from the background.  A simple zipper and thin turquoise trim complement the finished product.  Measures: 1 turquoise pillow case (height 16 1/2 inches, width 16 inches).
