Art Museum of Cantonese Opera, A Fascinating Artform

In southern China, the region of Guangdong continues its tradition of narrating stories through songs, music and acting.  The Cantonese Opera, a traditional Chinese opera performed in Guangdong, dates back to the 16th century.  The Art Museum of Cantonese Opera, situated in the city of Guangzhou, is a cultural complex with exhibition halls and theaters.  We admire the traditional style Lingnan Gardens that overlook the artificial Wansha Lake.  We enjoy the Cantonese Opera, a fascinating artform performed by animated singers and actors.
