The Yunnan Province, situated in the southwestern part of China, is a culturally diverse region with preserved ancient traditions practiced by distinct ethnic groups. The Old Town of Lijiang is a UNESCO Heritage Site with preserved ancient architecture, narrow cobblestone alleys and tree-lined canals. Lijiang, originally built during the Song Dynasty and the early Yuan Dynasty, transfers its visitors back to ancient times. The Naxi minority is the largest ethnic group in Lijiang. During our journey, we observe a cultural dance in the Old Town of Lijiang, showcasing regional costumes and traditions.
